With exquisitely executed detail, a captivating duo of birds are frozen in place within the carved smoky quartz in this one-of-a-kind Sevan Bicakci ring. With exquisitely executed detail, two blue and red birds are sitting together in a tiny nest are depicted within the interior of the faceted, hand-carved smoky quartz. The three dimensional composition has been made by intaglio carving - a technique using reverse carving from the underside of the stone. Framed by a halo of sparkling diamonds, pale purple tanzanite and lapis micromosaic, the oxidized sterling silver setting connects to the 24K yellow gold band. This masterpiece is lined with 24K yellow gold where Sevan's signature and the date on which this ring was completed is engraved.
Each piece of Sevan's jewelry is a collaboration of painters, calligraphers, engravers, micro-mosaic masters, sculptors and masters of gem-setting.
