Brilliantly imagined and executed with the most perfect detail, this one-of-a-kind Sevan Bicakci padlock pendant is the traditional symbol of protection. The three dimensional evil eye has been created by intaglio carving - a technique using reverse carving from the underside of the stone - into the underside of the faceted rock quartz. Painted with precision, the eye is framed by an intricate setting of shimmering black diamonds between two sections of turquoise micro-mosaic. The two sterling silver surfaces are separated by a 24K yellow gold casing which encloses the lock's mechanism and is engraved with Sevan's signature and the date the lock was created. This is a statement-making work of wearable art and a modern classic.
