Bold in size, classic in design and honoring one of Modern Art's most inspired women, Frida Kahlo, this Digby & Iona signet ring is a modern version of the traditional. The surface is caste with a floral arrangement bisected by a 14K yellow gold dagger inlay. 'Pinto Flores Asi No Mueren' is engraved into the sterling silver around the edge which translates to 'I paint the flowers so they will not die' a quote from Kahlo.

NEW YORK - As a young boy growing up in Maine, Aaron was fascinated with the idea of stumbling upon hidden treasures and unearthing ancient relics. The son of a craftsman, Ruff has grown up with a strong sense of artistry and construction. After taking a class in jewelry making at Parsons, Ruff soon discovered his true craft. Ruff now works out of his Brooklyn studio, creating jewelry inspired by everything from history and literature, to the design of nature and tools of necessity. Ruff also draws from his childhood fantasies of exploration, which lends a playful quality to his work.
