LONDON - After relocating to London from Barbados, Disa Allsopp developed a jewelry practice rooted in traditional metalsmithing techniques and a strong material sensibility. Using forging, reticulation, and patination, she creates distinctive surfaces in 18K gold and sterling silver that feel textured, irregular, and highly worked by hand.
