Rosanne Pugliese strips the setting back here, letting the sharply cut lavender amethysts hang with very little interruption from the gold. The elongated geometry and pale, almost icy saturation give the earrings a controlled edge without pushing into excess.

Her design inspiration is a translation from modern, clean lines and luxurious materials - developed while working for Calvin Klein - into a contemporary, minimal, sculptural interpretation hand-wrought in 22K gold. She creates her jewelry in her small Brooklyn workshop where each piece is painstakingly created by hand. Attention is given to fine detail, gentle finishing techniques and carefully selected gemstones. Rosanne uses only recycled gold.
