The hand-carved lab grown coral heart hangs from 14K yellow gold ear wires with three lab grown ruby drops dangling below. Lab grown coral is molecularly identical to natural coral but grown in a lab, not the ocean.

LOS ANGELES - Growing up in the South, Rachel Quinn always knew she would end up in the arts. After receiving her BFA in painting and sculpture, she moved to New York City and was soon introduced to the world of contemporary jewelry and in 2009 graduated from the Metalsmith Program at FIT.
