Studio Sweep 2 Medal Pingei-xcm2s
Sweeping her Brooklyn studio for bits and pieces of whimsical, signature elements, Judy Geib has created a statement making pin. Framing the large oval amethyst are sterling silver and gold leaves, swirls, spirals, peridot, kunzite, blue sapphires and herkimer quartz dangles. A silver '2' is set close to the top under a ribbon of gold. Playfully eclectic, it can be worn as a pin or just displayed as a work of original art.

NEW YORK - The iridescence of an opal 'as deep as an ocean'; an emerald with the vibrance of 'dew on green grass'; intricate swirls of gold creating a web of meandering flowers ... This collection of jewelry is an unexpected and sublime balance between vision and object, form and material, space and shape. Each piece comes together as it is being created by what Judy Geib refers to as 'process design'. The result is a magical group of jewels exuding a humble, bohemian elegance. Accompanying each piece of jewelry is a special, hand-crocheted box.
