Set at the base of the open hand is an 18K yellow gold evil eye set with a shimmering diamond center and amethyst, peridot, tourmaline, and citrine eyelashes. NEW YORK - Designer Brent Neale Winston discovered a love of jewelry through her mother, who took her to gem shows near their home in Baltimore. After graduating from John Hopkins University, she was encouraged by jewelry historian Penny Proddow to enroll at the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she earned an associate's degree in jewelry design. The Brent Neale jewelry collection takes its inspiration from books, art and music.
