Memphis and Benares Drop Ruby Earringscic-esmcr
Combining inspiration from Ettore Sottass's famous Memphis Design Movement of the 1980's and the fine gold thread weaving of Benares, Alice Cicolini has created a pair of bold, graphic and ultra-elegant earrings. The tops are 14K yellow gold discs meticulously hand-painted with black lacquer and set with shimmering ruby pavé. Anchoring the composition are globes covered in black lacquer to reveal circles of gold capped at the bottom with ruby cabochons.
