Captivating and distinctive, these Variance earrings exude an earthy, modern vibe. The asymmetrical slices of saturated raspberry red rubies have angular, jagged edges and a vibrant color. The stones are set in hand-wrought prongs of 14K yellow, white and rose gold, creating a contemporary alternative to the traditional gem earrings.

Variance Objects Jewelry

SANTA CRUZ, CA - Nicole Rimedio creates jewelry that highlights the natural beauty of raw materials. Her jewelry shows the earth, fire, and hand that it came from. While she received her BA in Architecture and Urbanism from Smith College, and her master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley, making jewelry has always been her path. Nicole founded Variance in 2013 with her partner Scott. Scott manages operations and Nicole is the artist. They both have a passion for gemstones and together they source fine gem specimens and rough rock from gem collectors and small scale miners.
