With their bright, vibrant color and earthy minimalism, these one-of-a-kind Variance Objects earrings offer a stunning alternative to traditional post earrings. The faceted nuggets of amethyst are held in place by the hand-wrought claw-like prongs of 14K mixed rose and yellow gold. These could even be worn in a second or third piercing.

Variance Objects Jewelry

SANTA CRUZ, CA - Nicole Rimedio creates jewelry that highlights the natural beauty of raw materials. Her jewelry shows the earth, fire, and hand that it came from. While she received her BA in Architecture and Urbanism from Smith College, and her master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley, making jewelry has always been her path. Nicole founded Variance in 2013 with her partner Scott. Scott manages operations and Nicole is the artist. They both have a passion for gemstones and together they source fine gem specimens and rough rock from gem collectors and small scale miners.
