Miami - As a way to raise funds for her local Buddhist center, Nancy Badia began stringing beads at her kitchen table. After selling out of her handmade bracelets, she decided to step away from her family business to begin Buddha Mama. Not only was it a creative way to honor her spirituality, but it also allowed her to give back to her community. With her daughter, Dakota, and Dakota's childhood friend designing by her side, her collection continues to inspire. “To be able to do what we love and give back in the process is the biggest blessing anyone could ask for."
