With their molten, hand-wrought design, these Variance Objects earrings have a rugged, casual vibe. The asymmetrical slices of pale brown Mexican topaz have organically faceted edges and are held in place by 14K white and rose and 18K yellow gold prongs and connect to 14K yellow gold post backs. The look is raw and eclectic - perfect for someone looking for an earthy, one-of-a-kind look.

SANTA CRUZ, CA - Nicole Rimedio creates jewelry that highlights the natural beauty of raw materials. Her jewelry shows the earth, fire, and hand that it came from. While she received her BA in Architecture and Urbanism from Smith College, and her master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from UC Berkeley, making jewelry has always been her path. Nicole founded Variance in 2013 with her partner Scott.  Scott manages operations and Nicole is the artist. They both have a passion for gemstones and together they source fine gem specimens and rough rock from gem collectors and small scale miners.
