With its playfully symbolic design, Marie Lichtenberg has created a graphic, statement making pendant necklace with a hidden secret. The black rhodium plated 18K rose gold orb locket is set with rainbow sapphire stars and opens to reveal a high polished interior with a tiny green enameled four leaf clover. It hangs from the base of the rainbow and mauli pearl cord. Perfect alone, it also adds a talismanic vibe to a layered necklace look.

PARIS - After twelve years working as an editor for French Elle, Marie Lichtenberg decided to channel her experiences into her own creations. Inspired by the jewelry of the French West Indies and the craftsmanship of India, Marie has created a collection of 18th Century-inspired lockets and charms. Made from 14k yellow gold, hand engraved and set with precious stones and bright enamel, they are then strung onto colored sarees thread – citing the ancient Hindu prayer ritual of kautuka.
