Palladium

palladium:

This is a metallic chemical element with the symbol Pd and the atomic number of 46.

It is in the same metal family as platinum, but has a lower melting point and is far less dense.

Palladium is frequently used in jewelry as an alternative to platinum or white gold. It is also added to gold to create the white gold alloy.

The white color of palladium is natural and does not come from the addition of nickel. It is considered a whiter metal than platinum.

Palladium is extremely flexible and easy for jewelers to work with.
