Brooklyn - Originally from Barcelona, Spain, Blanca Monrós Gómez creates stunning, made by hand jewelry in her Gowanus, Brooklyn studio. Inspired by the beauty of the natural world and her love of intricate, hand-made objects, her jewelry is intended to be worn every day and passed down from generation to generation. Her interest in creating came from watching her grandfather repair crumbling beaded fringe lamps in the Catalan village of Gironella when she was a child. Now, all of her jewelry is sourced from environmentally responsible vendors and is made exclusively from recycled gold and uses diamonds whose sources are full participants in the Kimberly Process
